1. Standard Leash (Adjustable 4–7+ ft)
Perfect for everyday walks.
- Clip to the stationary d-ring to make a handle
- Clip to the sliding d-ring to adjust shorter, and hold the loop as the handle
- Adjust the length for more freedom or closer control
- Adjust the length for more freedom or closer control
Best for: daily walks, neighborhood strolls, quick potty breaks.
2. Hands‑Free Around the Waist
For those moments when you need both hands — carrying coffee, pushing a stroller, or just enjoying a relaxed walk.
- Wrap the leash around your waist
- Clip it back to itself via the sliding d-ring, adjusted to fit comfortably
- Your dog stays securely connected while you move freely
Best for: multitasking, long walks, hiking, running.
3. Hands‑Free Cross‑Body
A comfortable, secure option that distributes weight across your torso.
- Drape the leash across your body
- Clip it back to itself via the sliding d-ring, adjusted to fit comfortably
- Keeps your dog close without pulling on your waist
Best for: training sessions, casual walks, hands‑free adventures.
4. Slip Lead Mode
A quick, temporary solution when you need a leash fast.
- Create a loop by clipping the end to the sliding d‑ring
- Slip it over your dog’s head
- Adjust for a secure but gentle fit
Best for: quick transitions, car-to-house moments, bathtime solution!
(Not intended for long-term use.)
5. Temporary Tether / Tie‑Out
For short stops when you need your dog safely secured.
- Wrap the leash around a sturdy object (tree for example)
- Clip it back to itself via one of the d-rings (sliding d-ring for larger items such as a tree, stationary d-ring for something small like park bench)
- Creates a stable, temporary hold
Best for: outdoor patios, water breaks, quick errands.
(Always supervise your dog when tethered.)
6. Leash Training with a Multi‑Point Harness or Harness + Collar Combo
A game‑changer for dogs who pull or need extra guidance.
- Clip one end of the leash to the front clip of a harness
- Clip the other end to the back clip — or to the collar for added stability
- This creates two points of connection for balanced, gentle control
Best for: dogs who benefit from additional control during training
With the Detachable Handle, You Unlock Even More Options
The detachable handle is designed to give you flexibility without tons of extra gear.
7. Multi‑Dog Leash Mode
Walk two dogs with one leash - without tangles.
- Slide the leash through the carabiner until its generally centered
- Clip each end to a different dog
- The swivel hardware of the carabiner helps keep things smooth and tangle‑free
Best for: multi‑dog households, dog‑sitting, pack walks.
*Note: this is also possible without the handle, you can simply hold the midpoint of the leash. The handle simply makes it more comfortable and allows for less tangle moments.
8. Leash Extension
Give your dog a little more room to roam.
- Clip the handle to the dog and clip the leash to the d-ring on the handle
- Instantly adds extra length
- Also gives you an easy, close place to grab the leash
Best for: decompression walks, trails, open fields.
9. Traffic Handle (Handle Alone)
Close control when you need it most.
- Use the handle by itself
- Clip it directly to your dog’s collar or harness
- Keeps your dog close in busy or high‑distraction environments
Best for: vet visits, crowded sidewalks, crossing streets.
